Human Missile target tiers
Biggest intact structures win. Dust clouds do not.
Official Human Missile copy tells you to steer into the biggest and most valuable targets. It does not hand you a labeled map. This list is the field guide: what to frame on the pad, what to ignore after someone else already visited, and what only looks valuable because it is on fire.
Use it with how to score and how to steer. The sibling page is upgrade tiers. If you are still learning the hold, getting started matters more than any rank.
S — Intact houses and dense clusters
Wide buildings with rooms, stacked parts, and anything that matches the official smash-through-house fantasy. These silhouettes fill the camera and pay when you arrive at speed. If two S piles exist, pick the one nobody is already diving.
A — Large but lonely structures
A single fat prop or a tower that is tall but hollow. Worth a dive if S is contested. Not worth a rescue steer across the whole map if an S house is still standing beside the pad.
B — Small intact props
Practice targets. Use them to test a new launch or a new upgrade. Do not farm them as your main income unless the server already erased every house.
C — Debris, dust, and leftover studs
After an eight-player stampede, the ground looks rich and is not. Diving into a cloud is how people swear the economy broke. Sweep for intact outlines. If you cannot find one, wait a beat for the instance to settle or hop servers.
F — Empty sky, grass, and other missiles
Airtime is not a target. Grass is not a target. Another player is not a published objective. You can collide with them—this is a physics sim—but do not build a session around it. The game page never sold a kill feed.
Reading the map in five seconds
- From the pad, find the widest intact silhouette.
- Check whether two other missiles already committed there.
- If yes, take the next widest.
- Frame it, then hold.
- After the boom, do not relaunch at the same dust.
That scan is the whole ‘map guide’ the beta currently deserves. When Maddorith adds named zones, updates will say so. We will not invent a ‘Desert Silo’ to look complete.
Server politics without the drama
If a friend calls an S house, let them have it and take the A pile. You will both score. If a stranger griefs your dive, change heading; there is no report-to-rank pipeline we can document. VIP servers are not enabled, so you will keep sharing the toy.
When a publish adds a new structure type, start it in A and promote it after you feel the payout. The review already warned that content is thin; this list stays thin on purpose. Thin and true beats a fake atlas.
Frame an S house tonight. If you cannot find one, you are looking at C-tier dust. Walk the camera, not the rumor mill. Then spend what you earned with the upgrade planner so the next S dive deletes a bigger hole.
A last habit: after you land, name the thing you hit in one word—house, tower, dust, sky. If the word is dust or sky, the dive does not count as practice. Only intact nouns train the eye. That tiny after-action line is how target tiers become instinct instead of a wiki tab you forget mid-hold.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common Human Missile questions.
What should I smash first in Human Missile?
The largest intact house or dense cluster that nobody else is already diving. Official text wants big, valuable targets.
Do other players count as targets?
Not as a published objective. Smash structures. Collisions happen in a physics sim, but they are not the loop.
Why did a big pile give no points?
It was probably leftover debris. Re-scan for intact silhouettes before you launch again.
